Memorial Day Weekend... begins....

Always love a 3 day weekend, and with gorgeous weather on top of it?? Woo-hoo!!

Today we celebrated Mason's 8th birthday party! Happy Birthday Mason, you're getting so big!

Well, we wanted to make Mason a cool card, that we all drew, so I thought we could all draw our selves waving at Mason, well I should leave the drawing to Jade I think.. Here's the front of his card...

So after the party- by the way thanks Misty and Dennis for a great time!, we went home. I don't know what everyone else did, but I know I crashed for about an hour, I was so tired....

But then I woke up, and we decided to do dinner and a movie with the kids. We ate lite cause we were still kinda full from the party, except for Kent- he is always hungry. So we went to Quizno's...

Then we went and saw the Night at the Museum, the second movie... yes I snapped a picture in the theatre, but before the movie started....

Well, it has been a long day. I'm writing this after 10pm tonight with a bowl of cookies and cream ice cream in front of me.... thinking about the 6 miles I'm supposed to run before church tomorrow. 6 miles is next for my training, I'll at least do 5, I'm not sure about the 6 though... (hahahaha nervous laughter....)

Anyway, hope you all are having a great start to the weekend.

What month is it? It looks like fall out there, but I hear it's supposed to get nice again.

Let's see, where did the last 2 days go:

Intense 50 minute work out with Jade....

Payed bills...

Did laundry...

Went to Costco....

Put groceries away...

Jade to off campus to take test....

Sign Jade up for accuplacer test to possibly take college courses next year...

Making dinner- both days....

Read my Bible- both days...

Made Jeromy's lunch- he has a big job going on this week- woo-hoo!!...

Balanced check book....

You can see nothing too exciting... just regular stuff, but I know you want to hear about it.... except that whole going to work thing, I even get sick of hearing about that.

Gotta go, ground turkey needs to be stirred.

More weekend fun...

Last night Jeromy and the kids cleaned out the chicken coop- or chicken mansion as I call it. Jeromy built some little cubicles- can't remember the official name, but they're little areas for the chickens to go lay their eggs...

See? Doesn't that look like a chicken mansion to you? Spoiled chickens. Here's Jeromy putting them in...Another view, this is where they perch... do you see they even have tile flooring, he said it's easier to clean, I think they're spoiled...

Here's Jade holding the baby chicks, they are getting bigger, too, but the big chickens peck at them so they still have to be separated.Aurora being sooo cute...I know you can Kent's crazy ensemble here, but can you see past him to the chicken coop where the girls are waving and Jeromy's working, I love how that one white/pink flowery tree goes across that opening like a flower canopy, so pretty...

The girls made us some brownies last night... and yes, they are gone today....The next morning before church, Jeromy and Aurora had a little photo shoot that I didn't even know about till I looked at my camera, talk about cuteness.....After church, the kids headed up to the local park. Jade took the camera with them... this is what they took...
