More stuff...

So the last blog entry ended with my dad's 70th birthday. Well, there was another milestone birthday on the same day! Jade and Kenton's Grandma Claire turned 60 years the same day as my dad turned 70. So after my dad's party, Claire came over and picked Jade and Kent up and they spent the night with her. The kids got her flowers for her birthday.

 Tonight we are all anxiously awaiting Jade's homemade lumpia! She was making a double batch cause Jeromy wanted to freeze some of it for later! She's a pro!

 Today was a pretty fun day, too! Jade and I met my mom for coffee then we headed to JCPenney's were we had an appt to get pictures taken: 3 generations... the last time we did it Jade was 10 and grandma Shield was in the picture. Now she is 20... I told her if we do it again when she's 30 that we should have 4 generations again- no pressure!

After pictures we headed back to grandma's house and worked on doll clothes- well I did anyway! I wanted to make my doll a "fall" outfit! I cross-stitched that pumpkin on the bodice- how cute! The dress is kind of a puffy look, too. It's not quite done cause there is an under shirt and leggings that are bright orange to tie in the pumpkin color.
