Sweetheart Fun Run 2011!

Our first run for the year! It's the Valentine's Sweetheart Fun Run! Just Jade and I did it! Kent had 3 friends spend the night last night, so they slept in and just hung out. I had to work last night so Jade texted me this picture while working... here's AJ, Kent, cousin Kyle and Phillip, these are some great boys I tell ya!

Jeromy didn't go to the run cause he was picking up Aurora at the same time in Tacoma. Here's Aurora and daddy....OK, so you want the details of the run now don't you! Here's Jade and I getting ready to run! Jade was doing the 1 mile in the age division of 18-29, she's only 18!I did the 5K in the 30-39 age division. 5K = approx 3 miles!Daughter and mom.... brown eyes and green eyes!They had red ribbons with cool metals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place! Look who won 2nd place in her age division for the 1 mile!!!! She's awesome! She ran it in 8:08!!The back of the metal...Jade and I. I just love this girl. This was the first run that just Jade and I did! I was wanting to do this run if it wasn't raining and I knew no one else could do it with me, so last night I asked Jade if she'd do it with me- she prefers walking over running. But she said she's love to do it! It was alot of fun, and it's also my first 3 mile run for the year... been doing 2.75 for the last week. But now that I did 3... there's no turning back! Great job Jade!
