We DID the Puyallup

And I we're still recovering!

We started off with church yesterday morning, and the church had a guest speaker, from Oregon, I think? It's always interesting to hear another pastor talk, people are so interesting especially when they are talking about their passion for Jesus!

After church, we stopped by Jeromy's parents house to change for the fair. They had just gotten back from an Alaskan Cruise, so we talked about that for a bit.
Then it's off to the fair! After parking we headed to the entrance, the kids are ALWAYS looking so cute, so I took a picture! Before we even got to the entrance, Jeromy spotted a scone stand....And after being in church, and then driving to Puyallup, we were HUNGRY! So as soon as we got inside, we went right to the food court! Here's Kent praying over his food of pizza and onion rings (we shared that)....
And Jeromy and Jade got Chinese...I love the guy that does the caricatures of people. But I wasn't really happy with how they turned out this year :o( oh well. But here's the kids as they were being drawn...

Here's the kids and their 80 ride tickets (of course rides take 3-6 tickets per)...Jeromy and I holding the line for the roller coaster....It was a beautiful day yesterday to go to the fair! Here we all are at the top of the roller coaster, I kinda missed Kent's face, he was sitting right next to me!Here's Kent and I eating ice-cream.... poor Jeromy and Jade can't eat it :o(At one point we broke off into pairs, Jade and Kent have their own cell phones so I felt ok about it. It's just weird to see my kids walking off into the fair atmosphere, when just a few short years ago, I was carrying them everywhere. They are so grown up. So it was kinda sad, but at the same time Jeromy and I were able to go look at exhibits that the kids would have found boring, and we had a little time to our selves which was nice! The kids had their tickets, and we gave them each $20 to spend how they wanted. Before we got to our time to call and touch base, we almost walked right into them ..... and their caramel apples.... I had to do an immediate taste test!During one of the exhibits, they had a huge quilting display. This picture is for you mom!Jeromy is getting worn out! (Me, too!)I RARELY let the kids have Cotton candy, it's just pure horrible sugar! But Kent LOVES it. So only when we go to the fair, I let him get it. He was one happy camper...We ate sooo much junk food, but you only go to the fair once a year right? Can you say 6 scones, apple pie, seattles best fudge, elephant ears, caramel apples, lattes and capachinos, cotton candy, onion rings, pizza, chinese food... am I forgetting anything?

And here's Jade, she bought herself a colorful bracelet...Jeromy had told us about Travis Fox, the hypnotist. So we were staying for his show at 7:30pm. It was pretty amazing. I don't think I've heard Jeromy and Kent laugh so loud and so much. All I can say is that it was amazing.

We got home at about 10pm last night. FUN FUN FUN!!

This morning, Kent is off to his 3 classes at school. Jade and I worked on her math story problems. And Jeromy is working a job on our own street! So the whole family is with-in 2 miles of each other right now. Kinda cool!
