Word for the last couple of days: HECTIC!!

Let's see, where do I begin?

Yesterday, the kids flu to California. We started the day with french toast for breakfast...And then I had to help with some last minute packing preparations...And then it's off to the airport. We've been having the kids try to find their way thru the airport by themselves with us just a few feet behind to see if they can figure it all out. The kids were able to check them selves in, and find their gate...Now we're just waiting for the kids to board the plane...Isn't she sweet...And poor Kenton, he's upset cause he's not going to see his mom for 33 days.... (ok, maybe it's just his itchy-watery-allergy eyes that were bothering him)Then, after the kids boarded and we left the airport, we headed into work. (Lame)

(intermission of about 6 hours of sleep)

Then, we get into today! Jeromy had 2 appts this AM before work..The first was a homeowner who wanted some rotted out woof from the deck replaced, and the whole south side of the house's siding repaired... the guy said he has a couple other bids coming in for the job, but he liked Jeromy's "Done once, done right" motto, among other things he mentioned. So we'll see if Jeromy get the job in a few days from now. So we had a chunk of time after this job estimate, and before the next job, so we thought we'd go visit grandma Shield! We LOVE you grandma!!Then it was off to the next appt. This job was close to home in bremerton which is nice when it comes to the gas for the van. This older gentlemen wanted their hot water heater replaced in the next couple of weeks. He was very happy with Jeromy's quote versus what Lowe's and another company had said. Cool for us. So we'll just be waiting on a call for when they're ready after the holiday weekend.

Then we headed back home for a couple hours before work, and on the drive home we saw Jade's favorite car: A bright red Honda element. When ever we drive by this car (in any color) she screams "element", scaring the crap out of me sometimes while I'm driving! But Jade... if you're reading this, I'm not sure I see a vehicle of any kind in your near future BECAUSE you're final report card came in the mail today... We'll be calling you soon....

Anyway, that is a recap of the last 2 days over here. I love the hot weather, but it has been kinda nice not sweating in my own house the last day or so (we do not have air conditioning).
